Launching Token Terminal Research

Over the past five years, Token Terminal has built the data infrastructure layer for crypto, transforming raw blockchain data into standardized financial and usage metrics across 100+ blockchains, 1,200+ applications, and 3,000+ tokenized assets. These metrics run on our in-house data pipeline that covers 2+ PB of data, with ~200 TB and ~30,000 dbt models processed and run every day.

This foundation has enabled a new step for the company.

While our platform gives users the tools to analyze onchain data, many of the institutions we work with, including investment firms, project teams, and other professional market participants, are not ultimately looking for tools. They are looking for answers.

Across software more broadly, there is a growing recognition that the highest-value products do not stop at providing interfaces for analysis, but instead take ownership of the underlying workflow itself.

Today, we are introducing Token Terminal Research, a dedicated service that extends our offering from providing data and analytics tools to delivering the full research workflow. Token Terminal Research leverages our data infrastructure, standardized & auditable methodologies, and the domain expertise our team has developed from working with onchain data across all sectors of the crypto market.

In practice, this means that we work directly with clients from the initial question through to the final output. Teams come to us with specific research problems, ranging from evaluating revenue quality to understanding user behavior within or across market sectors, and we translate these into structured analyses built on top of our underlying dataset.

The outputs are delivered in final form, as custom dashboards, structured reports, or ongoing analytical support depending on the use case. Rather than requiring teams to navigate raw data, build queries, and interpret results internally, Token Terminal Research provides a complete, decision-ready product, where the time from question to answer is significantly reduced.

We also help teams build AI-driven research workflows, where the quality of outputs is directly dependent on how effectively the prompts are structured. Because Token Terminal has built and operates the underlying data pipeline end-to-end, we are able to structure AI-powered analytical workflows on top of our dataset in a way that produces more reliable and decision-ready outputs.
