Our new MCP is now live. It gives AI agents access to standardized and comparable metrics across 100+ blockchains, 1,200+ applications, and 5,000+ tokenized assets – with full historical coverage and transparent calculation methodologies for every metric.

 One question does the work of a full data pull: narrow down to a specific segment (non-USD fiat stablecoins), group the results, rank them, and pull in supporting details. Environment: Token Terminal MCP in Claude. 

Under the hood, we've completely rebuilt the architecture. MCP 2.0 runs on our internal agentic architecture:

  • It takes your intent and maps it to our semantic layer, which defines every entity and metric we cover

  • It generates a SQL query and executes it directly in ClickHouse

  • It returns not just the results, but the full analysis and the reasoning behind it

From question to answer: the prompt is mapped to our semantic layer, translated into SQL, and run directly against the same database that powers every chart on Token Terminal. The refine-and-rerun loop means incomplete answers don't make it back to you.

This means every question you ask leverages the full power of our data warehouse, no matter how complex, in seconds.

The result is simple: better answers, deeper analysis, faster iteration.
